So I quit my job a month ago. At first it was great, I had so much free time, which I wasn't used to, as I used to go to college, then work then go home etc etc. And College finished three weeks ago, and I've had nothing to do. I've spent so much time just watching videos on youtube, and I've even started watching old Home and Away episodes online, which is incredibly sad, I'm aware.
I need a job.
I'm actually going to swallow my pride and apply at McDonalds, just so that I have something to do. The experience will be good for me.
Wish me luck!

I'm at a payphone..
Trying to call home, all of my change I spent on you...
Have you ever run out of battery whilst you're in town or out of wherever, and you're all by yourself.
Then you realise that you need to call someone, quite badly about meeting up, or whatever.
The PANIC. It's kind of sad that when you don't have a mobile you feel all alone, stranded.
And then out of desperation you use a payphone, trying to figure out how to use it. 60p for a phone call? There's a spider in the corner of the phonebox, looking down on you, making you want to get out of there as soon as possible.
It's like you're in the wilderness, left to fend for yourself.
Nope, just me?

What the hell is happening?
So, I'm 16. I'm bored, so I thought 'why not start a blog?' The likelihood is that no one will ever read it, but it's something for me to do, other that eat and dance around my room like a moron. I just finished school, and in a week or so I'm starting college. I've spent the last three months in bed, (or so it seems) although I did manage to crawl out of bed and scrape my hair back into a ponytail long enough to blag my way through a job interview, in order to pay for my magazine addiction and occasional shopping trips. I'm not really all that interesting a person. I suppose if I'm writing this blog I'll have to try and find interesting things to write about, which may in turn make me a more interesting human being. That is the hope anyway.
So, the crappy british summer that I have hardly enjoyed is officially over, and the things I am looking forward to most about Autumn are:
1. Going to College and not having to wear school uniform, and pretending to act like a grown up.
2. Buying a gorgeous jumper that I have me eye on, next friday as it's payday.
3. Season 4 of 90210 (told you I wasn't that interesting)
4. My 17th Birthday, although I have nothing planned as of yet, will probably end up getting shit-faced and waking up with a headache.
5. Those nice crisp mornings when you can see your breath in the air.
6. Seeing people I haven't seen in months at college.
That's all I can think of for now.
I have recently re-discovered my love for Spongebob Squarepants. I've spent the last day watching episodes back-to-back on Nickelodeon.
It only just struck me how utterly ridiculous it actually is.
He's a sponge, living in a pineapple, under the sea. He's friends with a squirrel, who lives in an air-filled watertight dome. His boss owns a fast food resturant and is a crab. This crap has a daughter who is a whale.
That's just the beauty of cartoons, anything is possible.
I leave you with a question: Any other cartoons/shows that make no sense but are still completely awesome because of it?
